David Powers graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1996 after a full time BSc (Hons) Ost degree course. After qualifying David worked as an associate in a number of established practices and taught at undergraduate level at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine before taking over the Copthall Osteopathic Practice. He now splits his time between clinical practice, administration of his clinic, as well as specialising in the osteopathic treatment of animals.
Furthering his knowledge through continuing professional development is also a large part of David’s life and he regularly attends lectures, demonstrations and conferences to keep up to date on the latest osteopathic and related topics. David is now in great demand and his client base consists of a large cross section of the public including A- list celebrities. David has been fortunate to treat the cast and crew of Sweeney Todd, The Golden Compass and James Bond – Quantum of Solace. In his spare time David runs, swims and has recently attained his Black Belt in Tai Jutsu, as well as spending time with his family.
Annabel Jenks DO, ND
Annabel Jenks is an osteopath with over 30 years’ experience. She has a private practice in Essex treating the full spectrum of patients, both human and equine, from Pony Club to Olympian. She graduated in 1984 from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, where she has been a governor since 1997.
Annabel is a faculty member on the Master’s Degree in Animal Osteopathy at the University of Wales. She has previously ridden in all disciplines but now concentrates on dressage, training and competing with her own horses, from novice through to advanced level.
Bronte Spencer Davies, BSc Hons
Bronte Spencer-Davies is an equine sports massage therapist (ESMT), animal enthusiast and lover of everything outdoorsy. She graduated from university with a BSc (Hons) degree in equine studies and then went on to graduate as an ESMT from Equissage Europe.
She has worked in the equine industry for several years gaining experience in many fields but especially working within the dressage world. Bronte strives to expand her knowledge at every opportunity in both the competitive aspect of equestrianism and equine therapy.
In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, cooking and walking with her family and new addition black Labrador puppy, Loki.
Karen joined the team in March 2018 as admin support. She has many years of administration experience with local authority, NHS and charity sector.
Karen is a northern lass so when not juggling work with studying for her loves to explore London.
